The complexity and pace of life and work pushes most of us into a pattern of getting through one more day or week ahead. However, after taking the steps to complete this pathway, have you stopped and really thought about setting goals for yourself (at work or at home)?
This week, purposefully schedule 30 mins. for yourself and really think about one small goal, one medium size goal and then one big goal for yourself to complete over the next 60 days. Building momentum as you go along.
For any professional goals, work with your leader to create an individual development plan (if you don’t already have one); for any personal goals, write them down in a journal. Document your successes and failures and most importantly – lessons learned. Continue to do this every 60 days and then after 6 months – look back and review all that you’ve accomplished!
